Instructions:
Please read the following instructions to ensure that your request is complete and submitted correctly.
- Upload a course syllabus for each course for which you are seeking approval.
- If you are submitting multiple courses for review, you must complete the form individually for each course. This petition will not be accepted without a syllabus for every course.
- Syllabi must include a description and summary of the course, required texts and readings and a week by week course outline.
- Save the syllabus document as a PDF.
- Name the document in the following manner:
- Institution Name (Course Name/Number).
- Example: Merced College (PSYC 1A)
- EAP Students: Please provide a syllabus in English. If translated from another language, attach the original to the English translation.
Tips:
- Submit the syllabus as early as you can, as the process can take a minimum of 12 weeks upon submission for a decision to be made.
- Please note, the 12-week minimum wait period begins in Fall for courses submitted for review during Summer months.
- Community college courses cannot apply as upper division courses or towards upper division requirements.
